Terms of service

These terms apply whenever you use satie.co.za or place an order with us. By placing an order you agree to them.

Who you are dealing with

Satie Studio is a trading name of Spare Key Group (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/522486/07, VAT number 9003943348. Contact: hello@satie.co.za, Office Address: 5 Pinelaw Road, Diep River, Cape Town, 7800. These details are provided in accordance with section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

Prices

All prices are in South African rand and include VAT. Delivery is calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order you have already placed.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If a product is out of stock, or a price or description was published in error, we may decline your order and refund you in full.

Products

Our products are cosmetic products for external use. Ingredient lists are printed on every carton and shown on every product page. Product photographs are representative; natural ingredients vary slightly in colour and scent between batches. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or managing a skin condition, speak to your doctor or dermatologist before using a new product, and patch test if your skin reacts easily.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Our content

The Satie Studio name, logo, photography and copy on this site belong to us. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written permission.

Liability

We do not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including our obligations under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Subject to that, our liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

If something goes wrong

Email hello@satie.co.za first — most issues are settled within a day. You also have the right to refer a complaint to the National Consumer Commission.
